Janet's funeral service was held at All Saint's Church in North Hykeham on 30 November 2006 at 12.45pm.

The vicar was Jo Reid.

The service at the crematorium chapel commenced at 1.50pm. As soon as the cortege was seated 'Amazing Grace' by The Spinners played. At the end of the committal and before the congregation departed, a four minute medley of music by the pianist Charlie Kunz was played.

These artistes were two of Janet's favourites and were regularly heard when she was at home.
